The day before Thanksgiving we went to the Festival of Trees. It was gorgeous! Obviously we didn't get the tree we bought raffle tickets for...I just don't understand that!! :) The trees were absolutely beautiful and individually so unique if you took the time to look at them and see the story. I have chosen a couple of trees to share with you here.
This tree was the breast cancer tree with the theme 'It's Time For A Change', and seriously brought tears to my eyes. It was huge and surrounded by clocks. All kinds of clocks; clock ornaments, clock tree topper, clocks on the floor that had meaningful messages with them and as you can see a grandfather clock that was intertwined into the tree with bright pink ribbon. So beautiful and so well decorated.

There were a couple of tributes to Michael Jackson. This one was particularly well done and had a cute tree topper with his hat and glove.

Big Bird is a tree, bet you didn't know that! This was interesting because it was simply so tall! The feathers looks so real and it was put together so darling with all the little characters.
I'm thinking about decorating and donating a Stampin' Up! tree next year; wouldn't that be FUN??

Holiday Bazaar Wrap-Up

What a fun day yesterday at the Holiday Bazaar! I loved meeting all the ladies who dropped by to say hi.
It's a funny thing when complete strangers come up to you and give you a huge hug and tell me that they love you. Then you launch into a stamping conversation like we've known each other forever. Stampers are the BEST!!! Thank you for stopping by and introducing yourselves.
I've included a couple of pictures to share with you. It's awfully hard to look professional in a grade school gym with fire extinguisher boxes and exit signs and doors, etc.
I only had a small handful of things to sell. I was mostly using this event for tutorial sales and class sign-ups. I've had several e-mails inquiring what price I decided to sell the items for...
The Giant Nugget Boxes were $10. I took 5 and sold 3.

The Peppermint Patties in the Pretzel bags were $5. I took 20 and sold 5.

I've had a few questions about the York Peppermint Patties and the packaging not being like the ones shown above. If you shop on the Holiday candy isle, they are packaged in little baggie things with Holiday graphics on them. If you want the plain foil wrappers like these, you have to shop on the regular year around candy isle. Now you know Ü
Secretly, I was kind of excited they didn't all sell...now I have teacher gifts for Benjamin's Middle School teachers and friends Ü
Honestly, I was too busy talking to people than selling, so it is probably my fault they didn't sell so well. Good luck to all of you that have told me you are making these items for your craft shows!

Look how cute this Giant Nugget Box is from Hallie Gainer!

More Holiday Bazaar Goodies

WOW!! I don't even know what to say about all the comments and well wishes and compliments and time you took to share your thought on my blog in reaching One Million hits! It was a bit overwhelming, I actually had no idea that many people were paying attention!
Thank you so much!
Two people were randomly drawn for a chance to win a FREE pass to UStamp Year-End Blowout 2009. I've-mailed them and when they accept, I'll announce the winners. So much fun!!
Now on to some stamping stuff!
I saw these on Splitcoast Stampers and knew this awesome idea would be perfect for the Holiday Bazaar this Saturday.
Some of you have asked where it is. It's at Nicholas' school, Discovery Elementary, 21oo Leighfield Drive, Meridian ID. Off of Locust Grove between McMillian and Ustick. The bazaar is from 9-3 Saturday, November, 21st. Come on over!!!

I used these Pretzel bags to stuff with peppermint patties, you know, the ones I swore off of last year!!! I couldn't resist!
Holiday Lineup elves on some. Others have the snowflake punch with Merry Christmas from Delightful Decorations.

Christmas Punch Holly Jolly words and the Santa from the postage stamp shaped stamp...that's confusing!
If you are in the Boise Idaho area, come see me Saturday and introduce yourself!

I said I was done..... I told Dawn I would do UStamp Fall session as a Guest Designer then I was done. Somehow I got roped into the Holiday session and got bumped up to a Creative Crew Girl, then I was sure I was done. Seriously 2 sessions is plenty, I was full, happy and DONE! Then something happened...and here I am again announcing that I will be on the Creative Crew for the Year End Blowout Session 2009 of UStamp with Dawn and Friends.

Please join me for the Year End Blowout session of UStamp with Dawn & friends December 1-31!

Year End Blowout 2009 will give all of us an opportunity to do something REALLY FUN for ourselves by escaping the Holiday Stesses, even if only or a few minutes a day, to check out a project or peak into the chat room to say hello to some friends across the ocean. Don't we all deserve a few minutes of fun to help us re-charge and enjoy what we love??!! Of course we do!!

One of the many great things about UStamp is that YOU create when YOU are ready. LOVE the projects, but don't have time to make them yourself during the crazy holidays?? No worries!! The website will remain open for many months, ready when you are to create so you won't miss out.

Fun project themes of "Parties, Celebrations and Gift Giving" will totally hook you up for all your upcoming celebration needs right out of the gate for 2010!! Once all the hoopla of the holidays dies down, you will be thrilled that you can fill your January making creative projects from the Year End Blow Out event.

We will be celebrating from December 1st until December 31st posting projects everyday AND giving away prizes everyday too!!
Would you like to join in on the fun for FREE?? All you have to do is leave me a comment and 2 random winners will be drawn Tuesday, November 17th at 7 pm! It could be YOU!!!

ETA: Please feel free to leave a comment but a winner has been chosen and will be announced soon. Thank you!

Join us TODAY to get in on the Early Bird Special of only $19.98!! You will definitely want to hurry because the Early Bird Special ends Nov 17th and the fee will go up $24.98.
At the top of Dawn's blog, click on the UStamp link and follow the directions from there.
I love it when I am out and about on the web and come across someone who has made something from my blog!
Giant Nugget Box from Cannie Hunter, you can view her details HERE.

This one was on Splitcoast Stampers and is from Theresa Forseth. You can also see it on her blog HERE.

If you would like to make a Giant Nugget Box, the instructions can be found
HERE. Let me know what you come up with!

Thank you again one million times for visiting my blog!!

Holiday Lineup

Are you ready for more Holiday Lineup cards? Holiday Lineup and Jolliest Time of the Year are my favorite Christmas stamp sets...oh wait, I love Delightful Decorations too, maybe you've noticed. :)

It all started with this card here. I love the Merry Moments DSP (some pages better than others but hey, you can't love em' all!), especially the candy cane striped piece, so this really caught my eye.
I changed it up a little and this is what I came up with.

Then I thought it would make a great pocket card, so I made a few of those too. I'm working on several more.. because you may as well color a bunch of elves at the same time instead of just one! I love these little guys and the reindeer in the Holiday Lineup set too!!!
