Halloween Gum Wrappers

These are for Nicholas 5th Grade class Halloween Party tomorrow. It's his last year in grade school and probably my last year for making cute treats...it soon will be 'not cool'!!

And another proud Mom moment...

Benjamin completed Course 3 of the Wilton Cake Decorating class last night and look at this beauty!! Now this is my kind of final exam!!
Here is he with Vickie his awesome instructor. She said she has taught a couple of children before but none as serious at age 13 as Benjamin. He will take his final course in February and can't wait!

  16. Beautiful cake! It looks professionally done. Your son has made amazing progress.

    Love the gum treats. What a cute idea :-) My kids are both in high school now (9th/11th) and although my son wouldn't go near a hand-stamped treat these days, luckily my 11th grade daughter still loves giving her friends goodies. I just made the wrapped/stacked mini Hershey bars from your 12 days of Christmas. Love the tutorial. Glad I bought it :-)

  26. I love the gum treats. And you are right, after grade school-no ore treats. So I do them for friends' kids. And Benjamin did an awesome job on his cake! It's so great to see a teenager with such great talent and dedication! It's been nice to see his wonderful creations. Thanks for sharing.
