They keep getting better and better. Can't waint until Sunday.!!
WOW! Becky I have to say I am disappointed that you would take an idea made from Papertrey Ink
www.papertreyink.com "File it with Flair" My Timeless Template and not only say it is your own, but attempt to profit off of it. I believe its copyrighted. This is a sad world we live in.I am off to email the creator of the template. Im so disappointed.
Becky, You inspire me. Check out my blog tomorrow. I will be leaving something there for you.
Dear "Anonymous", the magazine holder is based on a project from my 12 Days of Christmas Tutorial released in October 2008. I've also provided a free mini-magazine tutorial based on the same design since September 2008. One of the links is here: http://inkingidaho.blogspot.com/2008/10/1st-day-of-christmas.html
Lauren's post is from March 2009. If I read my calendar correctly, September 2008 comes before March 2009. Next time, please leave your name so I can respond directly to you. It is not very brave to hide behind "Anonymous" to accuse me on a baseless accusation when the evidence of ownership for the Magazine Holder is already on my website.
-Becky
P.S. I've e-mailed Lauren with the links to my October posting so she is aware of your "concern". Oh, and yes, this idea is copyrighted --- BY BECKY in 2008.
I am ready.. got PAY PAL ready too...
Denise
Hi Becky I have just read the comments left by Anon and your response. How dare someone make such faceless accusations. I total agree with your response, and I applaud your professionalism, not sure I would have been so calm. I have all your tutorials and all of Lauren's and I have to say although similar, they aren't even made in the same way. Keep up the good work.
There is always someone out their trying to pulls other successes down.
Hugs Sarah BX
i'm so ready for this tutorial!! looks great! great job once again!!
Becky!
WOW this ROCKS!!! I just love it. I can't wait to make it. I lost my mojo sometime last week and maybe this will bring it back!!!!
You are oozing creativity!
Cute project Becky! So sorry that you have to defend yourself against the accusations of someone who didn't check their facts. At least that person could have emailed you instead of scolding you in the comments section for all to see. S/he is right about one thing; it is a sad world. Thankfully it's not always that way though.
Dear anonymous,
If Becky has taken the idea from Lauren, how do you respond to the matchbox template Papertrey offers? That is from SU. And the take along tote, who claims that? Please don't visit this blog of wonderful things that the rest of us enjoy! And if you are part of SU, maybe their is something to remember....."to LOVE what we do and SHARE what we love, as we help others enjoy CREATIVITY and worthwhile accomplishments.....in this we make a DIFFERENCE."
Becky,
I love this project! Your download was SUPER EASY to follow! I'll definitely be coming back for more! Thanks for all you do:)
These are super cute Becky :) Unfortanatly I don't have paypal- will you be doing free templates still as well as for sale ones? I am in love with the magazine holder. As far as copyright- great minds do think alike- I love your milk carton carry along- and I made something similar to it before I ever saw yours. We are crafters- we are BOUND to have similar ideas. Part of the creative geniuse! Kudos for your professionalism and even going the xtra step to include Lauren to make her aware of any possible concerns. Good luck on the rest of this venture for you!
Great Blog, I agree with you. Please keep www.myeasypayment.com at your good work, I would come back often.
Thanks so much for keeping your tutorials so affordable for the SU hobbyists!
